I am a graduate of Wheaton College, Norton, MA (BA); Vermont Law School (JD, cum laude); and Vermont Law School (Masters in Environmental Law, cum laude); member Oregon State Bar.
I have practiced general and family law for over 30 years in four states and served as a juvenile public defender, pro tem municipal court judge and special master in high conflict divorce cases. I have included mediation in my practice since 1987 and collaborative practice since 2008. I have more than 200 hours of training in mediation, including advanced family law mediation; and basic, intermediate and mastery trainings in collaborative law.
I am a founding member and current VP of the Oregon Association of Collaborative Professionals (www.collaborativepracticeoregon.org) and a founding member of Bridges Collaborative Divorce Solutions (www.BridgesDivorce.com), a local practice group.
I am also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) qualified through the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA).
My passion has always been to help others come to peace - personal, relational and universal. The path to peace is not easy. It requires a warrior mentality - not to fight, but to cut through the obstacles of fear and unconscious habits of thought and behavior. Once the obstacles are removed, there is only peace.
